    Educational Mission and Philosophy

It is the mission of the Paterson Public School District to prepare each student to be successful in the institution of higher education of their choosing and in their chosen career.

It is our vision to create and maintain a safe environment where every student has opportunities to thrive and be successful.

Our mission is to empower students to become independent thinkers and learners by fostering relationships, which unveil and cultivate student’s potential that will lead them to future success.

Motto: Students will have success for today and be prepared for tomorrow because FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!!

It is with great pleasure that we take this opportunity to welcome you to the school this year. We are extremely proud of the programs we offer our students and the level of commitment you demonstrate toward implementing them.

It is our desire and hope that together we continue to build a learning community that works smartly to cultivate, foster and promote academic and social growth.  Our goal is to ensure a safe, creative, stimulating and caring environment, which promotes self-esteem and life-long learning.

Last year is gone and next year is not promised. This year is here.  Let us make this year the best year!
